Wir laden Sie herzlich ein am Sonntag, den 18. Mai um 17 Uhr zu einem kurzen Führung durch die Ausstellung Wor(l)ds of Borders
in der Peripherie 8,mit der Künstlerin Yota Tsotra, gefolgt von einer Präsentation von Mimi Hapig über die Feldarbeit von Habibi.Works in Ioannina, Griechenland.
Habibi.Works ist ein offener, interkultureller Makerspace sowie eine Plattform für Empowerment, Bildung und Gemeinschaft. In direkter Nähe zum Flüchtlingscamp Katsikas gelegen, unterstützt Habibi.Works Menschen auf der Flucht ebenso wie die lokale Bevölkerung – mit dem Ziel, ein Ort des Austauschs, der Solidarität und des gemeinsamen Lernens zu sein.
Im Anschluss an die Präsentation laden wir zu einer offenen Diskussion über Migration und Grenzen ein.

in Ioannina, Greece. Habibi.Works is an open, intercultural makerspace and platform for empowerment, education, and community, located near the Katsikas refugee camp.
Their work supports people on the move and local
communities alike, promoting values of respect, solidarity, and equality.
The event will conclude with an open discussion on migration and borders.
