PERIPHERIE 8, the art room in the attic in a residential building on the outskirts of Basel. PERIPHERIE 8 is an independent art room for artistic experiments.
The room is open for collaboration and mutual exchange and for mediation. The focus is on different media.

Thea Geneva the founder loves to connect and be inspired by people and wants to be a host and discuss options.

PERIPHERIE 8 is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year.
It is with a heavy heart that we will close the project in this form on 20 September 2025. We can no longer issue an Open Call because, despite our best efforts, we unfortunately have no financial resources available for programme funding.
​
​We opened the exhibition space on 19 June 2021. After 19 exhibitions with around 40 participating artists, we are closing the PERIPHERIE 8 Off-space exhibition space, the Kunstzimmer.
